Johnson's Canyon Hike!

By: Kristen

During Girls week we went on a beautiful hike in Johnson’s canyon. At one point on our hike we had the opportunity to go into a cave and see a close up view of the falls. Inside the cave, it was slippery, loud and quite scary. But once we emerged on the other side the beauty was breathtaking. The water was crystal clear and gushed into an icy blue pool. Looking down into this pool of water a couple of us noticed that there were icicles forming on the rocks below. It was neat to think about how the snow at the top of the mountain had melted, came down, and froze to form ice. It gave me the picture of God’s love for us. We feel it is so high about us yet it reaches the small crevices below.
